With SMT’s shot-tracking graphics system, fans gain a deeper look at each player’s shooting accuracy and patterns. The integrated scorebug-like graphic shows a circle representing the rim, and as players take a shot, groupings indicating where the ball hits the rim/basket are inserted in real time, showing where the ball landed.
SMT's technology synchronizes clock, score, and statistics from games and feeds the data in real-time to the graphics package. SMT’s SportsCG clock and score system captures clock data from scoreboards during the games, while our HoopStat in-game statistics and scoring system provides real-time data for the broadcasters and production crew. SMT production teams spot and input details of plays, including baskets, steals, rebounds and fouls, to update the box score used by commentators. Our Plus-Minus graphic displays statistics of how well a team scores when a certain player is on the court.
